National service census
-Class of 2029-

The Consulate General of Algeria in Geneva hereby informs young Algerian citizens residing in Switzerland who were born between 1 January and 31 December 2009 that the census for national service for the class of 2029 will take place from 2 January to 30 September 2026.

In this regard, the nationals concerned (or their representatives) are invited to submit or send the following documents to the Consulate General before 30 September 2026:

    One (01) Algerian birth certificate (in Arabic);
    Two (02) recent photographs;
    A copy of the registration card of the person concerned or their legal guardian;
    A duly completed and signed information form.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the provisions of Law 14-06 of 9 August 2014 on national service, all Algerian citizens aged 17 and over residing in the consular district are required to complete the census formalities.
