FILE TRANSFER

Consular file transfer is required in event of a change of a residency out of the consular jurisdiction. The transfer is to be requested from the Consulate covering the new residence area.

Algerian citizens newly settled in the consular jurisdiction of Geneva are invited to submit to our office the following documents for the transfer of their files

• Application form duly completed, dated and signed to download

• The consular card issued by the consulate holding the file or copy of the passport.

• The residence permit or the French national identity card for dual citizens.

• A recent proof of address.

Please be advised any changes in personal situation (profession, marriage, divorce, civil status) have to be notified to the Consulate.
