Mr. Ahmed Attaf takes office as Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad

Mr. Ahmed Attaf took office, Saturday in Algiers, as Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community abroad, replacing Ramtane Lamamra, following the reshuffle operated Thursday by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The handover ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Ministry. A minute's silence was observed on this occasion, in tribute to the martyrs of Algeria, including those of Algerian diplomacy, on the eve of the 61st anniversary of Victory Day, celebrated on March 19 each year.
