The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received this morning at the Ministry headquarters the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organisation, Mr. Darren Tang, who is on an official visit to Algeria.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organisation in the context of the official inauguration of a regional office of this UN agency in Algeria, in particular through supporting and accompanying national efforts aimed at developing industry, promoting start-ups, fostering innovation, valuing human resources and preserving cultural heritage.
