Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Mr. Ahmed Attaf held bilateral talks yesterday in Brussels with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Johann Wadephul, on the sidelines of their participation in the third meeting of Foreign Ministers of the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU).

During the meeting, Minister Ahmed Attaf renewed his congratulations to his German counterpart on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and reviewed with him the various dimensions of the relations of cooperation and friendship between Algeria and Germany in the context of preparations for the upcoming bilateral elections. The two ministers also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
