As part of the Arab Ministerial Consultative Meeting and the proceedings of the resumed 165th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at ministerial level,  in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on 22 June 2026, the Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr Ahmed Attaf, held talks with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, Mr Fuad Hussein.
