On the sidelines of the Arab Ministerial Consultative Meeting and the resumption of the 165th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at ministerial level,  in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on 22 June 2026, the Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr Ahmed Attaf, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
