On Sunday 16 August 2026, Algeria welcomed the third and final group of young people from the national community living in France and several other European countries at Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers, as part of the implementation of the national programme approved by the President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which provides for 2,000 places to be set aside for children and young people from the Algerian diaspora living abroad so that they can take part in summer camps.
