Statement

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, during which they discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields.

On this occasion, the German President renewed his invitation to the President of the Republic to visit Germany, which he accepted, extending in turn an invitation to the German President to visit Algeria.

During the phone call, the two presidents discussed developments in Gaza and the West Bank, affirming the two-state solution as a way to end the conflict in the occupied Palestinian territories. They also touched on current regional and international issues of interest to the two friendly countries.
